Browser storage
Account cookies and interface preferences used by Malfoid AI.
Account cookies
Malfoid AI uses account cookies to keep you signed in and support account security. Signing out ends the current website session. Password reset revokes the account's existing sessions.
If you choose Google sign-in when available, temporary authentication cookies help complete the redirect securely. Google uses its own account cookies on Google's sign-in pages. Signing out of Malfoid AI does not sign you out of Google.
Interface preferences
The browser stores your theme preference in local storage. Sidebar preferences may also use browser storage. These settings help retain your interface choices; they do not buy credits or authorize model requests.
Site traffic counts
First-party page-view and estimated daily visitor counts cover all AI-site pages without creating a cookie or browser-storage identifier. These are separate from the optional third-party tools below. See the privacy notice for data handling and retention.
Optional analytics
Google Analytics 4 and Microsoft Clarity are optional analytics tools for signed-out visitors on the public homepage. The account service does not require them to sign in. The analytics controls ask visitors to accept or reject optional analytics on the public homepage before loading these tools. A Privacy choices button on that page allows changing the decision. Rejecting after accepting reloads the page to stop analytics scripts and removes the supported analytics cookies; it does not delete data already received by the providers. See the privacy policy for the providers and current status.
Hosting-provider security features may use additional browser storage; this notice does not claim that every platform-level cookie is controlled by the application. Browser cookie controls can restrict storage, but blocking necessary account cookies may prevent sign-in features from working.
